Dconn strives to provide the Bitcoin and blockchain communities with information that is reliable, timely, and pertinent. We are interested in sharing information on the people, businesses, and technical advancements that are shaping our world because we are passionate about Bitcoin, Blockchain, NFT and so on. Whether our readers are new to the space or blockchain-savvy developers, investors, or business owners, we strive to educate and inform them with elevated stories that adhere to our strict editorial and journalistic standards and feature both the highs and lows of the Bitcoin industry.
What kind of content will be accepted?
Dconn accepts original, unpublished content about Bitcoin and related topics, including economics, politics, and culture. We started publishing content that wasn’t about Bitcoin (also referred to as “Bitcoin Core” or “BTC”) in early 2020. We will make an exception for submissions that aren’t directly about Bitcoin (for example, regulation, investing, or privacy), but they must provide information that is relevant and important to a Bitcoin-focused audience.
Dconn publishes content in a variety of formats (live streams, podcasts, articles, memes, and so on), but it generally prefers written article content from outside contributors.
We welcome Bitcoin-related guest post submissions from industry experts and thought leaders. Submissions for guest posts are reviewed in the same way that news articles are considered according to their merit and relevance to our readership.
How can I submit content?
Please submit your content to [email protected] along with the following details:
- The subject line of your email should include “CONTRIBUTOR SUBMISSION” and also the suggested title of your article.
- Is this a response to a certain “request for articles”?
- Is this content opinion, news, or an announcement? (choose one)?
- Author biographies and relevance as an expert on this topic.
- Summary (just under 150 words) in the body of the email.
- Article text (800 to 1,200 words) in a collaborative document format such as Google Docs with the settings of “anyone can edit”
Please do not submit whole articles in the body of the email.
If you haven’t yet written your article but want to see whether the topic is a good fit for Dconn, you can send in a comprehensive summary that describes the potential narrative you’d like to write about.
If your content is chosen for publication, you will be required to sign our Guest Contributor’s Agreement before it is published.
Will you steal my concepts?
We want to help all great Bitcoin-related content be seen by the world, so please submit your content even if you are concerned that it will not be a perfect fit for us. Instead of dominating the Bitcoin conversation with a limited set of viewpoints, we’d rather be a place where multiple voices can be heard.
We promise not to steal your ideas or content; please feel free to timestamp the existence of your submission before submitting it.
Do you accept all types of contributions?
Not all submissions will be published, and we cannot guarantee a response to all submissions.
In this format, do not submit generic content, press releases, or announcements; all submissions must be original, unpublished content of your creation.
Press releases should be clearly labeled as such and sent to [email protected] for consideration.
